Marketing
Many private equity firms have a dedicated marketing professional who is responsible for managing the external image of the firm. Areas of responsibility will include the following.
- Database and contact management
- Developing and implementing a programme of events for relationship maintenance including hospitality events, seminars, exhibitions etc
- Reviews of competitor activity
- Press and public relations
- Brochure production and design
- Website maintenance and management
Skills and experience required
To undertake this role you will probably have most of the following.
- A good university degree
- At least five years marketing experience within a financial institution or professional firm
- Good database management skills
- Press and public relations experience
- Good writing skills
- Good self-presentation and self-confidence
- A high degree of numeracy and financial sector understanding
