Mezzanine investors are specialised investors in the private equity investment structure that provide debt finance with an upside, equity related element. The number of investors in this area is increasing and the leading providers of acquisition finance often have mezzanine teams.

When recruiting, most mezzanine firms will be looking for candidates with strong acquisition or leveraged finance experience.
