The Consultant Support Team work alongside the consultants to manage the relationship between clients and candidates, and to ensure the smooth running of the recruitment process. Candidates and clients can contact any one of the Consultant Support Team with any queries regarding CV’s being sent or interviews being arranged.
The Application Support Team manage the hundreds of candidate applications that we receive weekly and keep our candidate register up to date. Candidates can contact any one of the Application Support Team with any queries during the initial stages of their recruitment process.

Gail McManus ¦ Managing Director
Gail founded PER, Private Equity Recruitment, to focus on the specialist recruitment needs of the private equity and venture capital community. She has an MBA from London Business School and has been involved in private equity for more than twenty years. Gail started her career with 3i in a regional office investing in some of the UK’s earliest management buy–outs. She later became 3i’s UK business development manager. After 11 years, Gail moved into recruitment and started PER, Private Equity Recruitment, in 1998. PER, Private Equity Recruitment, is one of the leading international recruiters for private equity investment professionals.

Charlie Hunt ¦ Consultant
Charlie is a consultant at PER, Private Equity Recruitment, focussing on investment roles across the UK and European venture capital and private equity community. Previously with 3i and NESTA, Charlie has over 5 years venture capital investment experience.

Victoria Hyde ¦ Consultant
Victoria is a consultant at PER, Private Equity Recruitment, joining in 2006. Victoria has served as a strategic planner and brand manager for companies such as EURO RSCG, JWT and Tycoon Enterprises where she spent 3 years as brand manager for DreamWorks SKG. Victoria has a BA degree in Business & Psychology, where she graduated with honours, and a BA in Design from the Istituto Europeo di Design in Madrid. She is mainly focused on recruitment for roles in the UK and Europe. Victoria is bilingual in Spanish and has lived and worked in many countries in Europe as well as North and Latin America.

Tim is a consultant at PER, Private Equity Recruitment. He is mainly focused on international business development and candidate placement. He has been involved in private equity for more than seven years working mainly for US and European Secondary funds in marketing and investor relations.

David is a consultant at PER, Private Equity Recruitment. He is a fluent German speaker having studied the language for his degree at Oxford and had the opportunity to live in the country for four years in total. He also speaks some Norwegian.

Julie has been with PER, Private Equity Recruitment, since 1999 and heads the consultant and application support teams for PER.

The Application Support Team
Debbie Wild has been with PER, Private Equity Recruitment, since 2003 and heads the Application Support Team for PER.
The Application Support Team members are Frances Baker, Erica Martin, Dean Pearman and Leonie Wilson and they manage the hundreds of candidate applications that we receive weekly and keep our candidate register up to date.

Ana Maria Urrutia
Ana Maria is a business development consultant at PER. Prior to joining PER in 2005, she worked for five years in M&A advisory and Private Equity.

Rama Sagna
Rama runs the business school recruitment programme and manages PER’s annual release of the CV books of Business School Graduates, Investment Bankers, Consultants and Accountants.

Victoria Thompson
Victoria is the Candidate Resourcer at PER. Her role is to identify the strongest candidates currently in the market and match them with the most appropriate opportunities in the industry. Finding these candidates involves scanning our database, sourcing new candidates via referrals and researching teams working in particular sectors.

Mel Richards
Mel is responsible for making introductions of our best current candidates to new and existing clients. She also coordinates PER’s marketing efforts.
